Coed Varsity Swimming, Girls Varsity Swimming · State Champs!

2 points and 11 years wasn’t going to stop this team, this year. After putting in the hard work during the Off-Season and early morning practices, your Lady T-Birds brought home the State Title with a steady and persistent performance. Over two days of intense competition, this Senior class made sure the team started off on the right foot. After taking Gold in the first event of the final, they had a firm grip on the 2020 title they never would relinquish. With each member of the team contributing points with their individual events, and the 2 Golds and 1 Silver in the relay events (Gold: 200 IM, 400 Free. Silver: 200 Free), Timpview earned 290 total points. They ended the day 56 points clear of Olympus who came in second with 234 points.  Read more about their Title run here at Deseret News: https://www.deseret.com/sports/2020/2/15/21131516/5a-swimming-championship-timpview-girls-olympus-boys-state-titles

In a tender moment, Coach J. McClain is pictured here presenting the State Championship Trophy to one of his Seniors, Akaila Bostock who could not participate because of a knee injury.
